What area do you deliver to?
We deliver palletised pellets through mainland UK and some of the islands. Bulk blown deliveries are mainland Scotland only.

Are all wood pellets the same?
The UK standard for domestic grade wood pellets is ENplus A1. Within this standard producers are required to adhere to a certain pellet specification.

How much can I get in my hopper?
One cubic meter of our pellets average 650kg in weight.

Are wood pellets cheaper than oil or gas?
Gas and oil prices vary, however you can check current prices against current pellet prices on our fuel comparison guide.  Sometimes when oil and gas prices are low, pellets work out slightly more expensive, however the Renewable Heat Incentive subsidises users of biomass so it is still more financially sensible to install biomass.

Can you store bagged fuel outdoors?
Although produced in heat sealed plastic bags there are small holes in the top of each bag to allow trapped air to exhaust during the stacking process. It is therefore important to ensure storage is undercover and preferably within a building or water tight construction.

Does the cost of pellets vary with quantity ordered?
The delivery charge can vary considerably, especially with loose blown deliveries.

Why should I use Pellets rather than wood chip?
• Consistent moisture content
• High energy value
• Less ash
• Higher bulk density therefore smaller storage area required
